De beleving van muziek speelt zich vandaag de dag grotendeels af in digitale omgevingen: anoniem en steriel. Juist live optredens staan garant voor de unieke en authentieke beleving van muziek. Hoogwaardige affiches in zeefdruk zijn daaraan blijvende herinneringen. Deze derde editie van de EPEX gigposter exhibition toont meer dan 75 gigposters uit het afgelopen jaar, bijna vers van de 'pers' dus! Met werk van Thomas Perrodin (CH), Arrache-toi un oeil! (FR), Carlo Vivary (GER), Farfante (IT), Jan Barcelo (SP), Joris Diks (NL), Mara Piccione (NL), Maarten de With (BE), Michael Cowell (UK), Spiegelsaal (GER), Subterranean Prints (SP/GER), Noise Armada, (GER), Bicycle Press (SP/AUS). Natuurlijk maken we ruim baan voor de posters van de VERA Art Division (NL). VERA is het enige poppodium in Nederland met een eigen atelier en een broedplaats voor zeefdruktalent

During The Eurosonic/Noorderslag festival make sure to drop by The European Poster Explosion and check out some amazing silkscreen posters from around Europe. EPEX collaborates with and displays work of Poster-O-Rama, a travelling exhibition including over 30 designers.

In total there are more than 50 European designers on display at EPEX, including: Antighost (D), Brookesia Studio (ES), Lars P. Kraus (D), Michael Hacker (AT), Error Design (ES), Señor Burns (D), Mara Piccione (NL), Scott Duffy (UK), Petting Zoo (UK), Rainbow (D), Monostereo (ES) and these members of the VERA Artdivison: Berbel Zijlstra, Douwe Dijkstra, Helemaalkim, Jan Hamstra, Jelle van Gosliga, Julia de Jong, Megan de Vos, Mirjam Dijkema, Rommie Schilstra, Stefan Sloot, Vlerk, Willem Kolvoort & Wytse Sterk.

All the posters are original pieces of art and created in collaboration with the musicians and concert halls. Most of them are for sale, so grab this unique chance to get a signed limited edition silkscreen of your favourite band or artist!
